Flocking powder creates a soft, suede-like finish thatâs easy to apply and delivers professional results. For best results, use matching colours of glue and powder to prevent any show-through from the timber.
How to Use:
- Apply glue evenly to the surface (sealing the wood first is recommended for better coverage).
- Sprinkle flocking powder generously over the wet glue.
- Allow to dry, then tip off and reuse any excess powder.
For neat edges, apply glue carefully and wipe away any excess. Always work over a clean tray to collect and reuse surplus powder.
Tips:
- For boxes: Add glue, pour in powder, close, shake, then remove excess.
- For flat surfaces: Use a sieve for even application.
- Clean brushes with water (glue is water-based).
- Leave to dry overnight and avoid touching the surface.
